Atlantis Cup - Regata da Autonomia 2023
Este ano, a Atlantis Cup 2023® – Regata da Autonomia, larga numa primeira etapa de Santa Maria para S. Miguel, numa segunda etapa de São Miguel para a Ilha Terceira e numa terceira etapa da Ilha Terceira para a Ilha do Faial. As etapas de S. Miguel para a Terceira e da Terceira para o Faial, contarão como as regatas Oceânicas (Offshore) do IX Campeonato Regional de Vela de Cruzeiro, que é igualmente composto por mais 9 (nove) regatas Costeiras (Inshore), 3 (três) a serem realizadas em cada uma das Ilhas de São Miguel, da Terceira e do Faial.
O IX Campeonato Regional de Vela de Cruzeiro dos Açores faz parte do Calendário de Provas Oficiais de Vela dos Açores e tem como entidade responsável pela sua organização a Associação Regional de Vela dos Açores (ARVA).
A Atlantis Cup 2023® – Regata da Autonomia, será disputada em três Classes, a ANC, a OPEN, e a ORC, sendo que os barcos inscritos na Classe ANC e OPEN apenas fazem as ligações entre Santa Maria e São Miguel, S. Miguel e a Terceira e a Terceira e o Faial, não participando assim no IX Campeonato Regional de Vela de Cruzeiro, que será apenas disputado pelos barcos inscritos na Classe ORC.
This year, the Atlantis Cup 2023® - Regatta of Autonomy, will start with the first leg from Santa Maria to São Miguel, the second leg from São Miguel to Terceira Island, and the third leg from Terceira Island to Faial Island. The legs from São Miguel to Terceira and Terceira to Faial will count as the offshore races of the IX Regional Cruise Sailing Championship, which also includes 9 Inshore races, 3 to be held on each of the islands of São Miguel, Terceira, and Faial.
The IX Regional Cruise Sailing Championship of the Azores is part of the Official Sailing Events Calendar of the Azores, and its organization is the responsibility of the Regional Sailing Association of the Azores (ARVA).
The Atlantis Cup 2023® - Regatta of Autonomy will be contested in three classes: ANC, OPEN, and ORC. Boats registered in the ANC and OPEN classes will only make the connections between Santa Maria and São Miguel, São Miguel and Terceira, and Terceira and Faial, thus not participating in the IX Regional Cruise Sailing Championship, which will only be contested by boats registered in the ORC class.
